Language
The official language of the Congress will be English.
Certificate of Attendance
An official Certificate of Attendance will be provided for all registered delegates.
CPD Accreditation
Malaysian delegates may claim Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation points for attending the congress. In order to receive the accreditation points, attendees are required to sign in on the attendance sheets at the Registration Counter located at Level 1, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
Visa Requirements
All delegates entering Malaysia must possess a valid national Passport or internationally recognised Travel Document valid for travel to Malaysia. Any person not in possession of a passport or travel document that is recognised by the Malaysian Government must obtain a document in lieu of passport. Application for the document in lieu of passport can be made at any Malaysian Representative Office abroad.
No visa is required for U.S.A. citizens visiting Malaysia for social, business or academic purposes (except for employment).
No visa is required for a stay of less than one month for nationals of all ASEAN countries except Myanmar. For a stay exceeding one month, a visa will be required, except for Brunei and Singapore nationals. Commonwealth countries that require visas include Bangladesh, Cameroon, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
For nationals of Israel, visas are required and permission must be granted from Ministry Of Home Affairs.
For nationals of Republic of Serbia and Republic of Montenegro, visas are required without permission granted from Ministry Of Home Affairs.
Visa is required include Afghanistan (Visa with reference), Angola, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo Democratic Republic, Congo Republic, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Hong Kong (C/I or D/I), India, Liberia, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Serbia & Montenegro, United Nations (Laissez Passer) and Western Sahara.
Foreign nationals who require a visa to enter Malaysia must apply and obtain a visa in advance at any Malaysian Representative Office abroad before entering the country.

Insurance
The Organisers are unable to accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of personal property during the Congress and participants are advised to ensure that such items are adequately insured prior to travel.
Time
Malaysia is eight hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (+8 GMT).
Currency
The unit of currency is Malaysian Ringgit indicated as RM. USD1 is approximately equivalent to RM3.20. Foreign currency can be converted at banks and money changers.

Post Offices
Open from 8.30am to 6.00pm daily except the first Saturday of each month.
Electricity
Voltage is 220 - 240 volts AC at 50 cycles per second. Standard 3-pin square plugs and sockets.
